CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES
The Construction of the Library of the Marmara University,
Göztepe Campus
The construction which has been started in the year
1991, has totally 8.000 m2 closed area. The basement
floors were first considered to be used as the parking
place, but afterwards only the two basements floors
have been designed as the parking place. The first basement,
ground floor and the 6 floors have been arranged as
the administrative divisions and the reading halls.
Under the scope of this tender, the construction of
the building; plasters, door-frames, window sub-frames,
steel finishing, fire escapes, floor coverings, ceramic
flooring and wall linings, etc. have been completed.
