CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES

Marmara University Haydarpaşa Campus Building Restoration Construction
The construction consists of a total of 6 contracts. The construction works of the afore mentioned edifice with a closed area in a total of 70.000 m². The repair works of which have been started in the year 1985, includes the following units.

A) In the Faculty of Medicine;

Microbiology Laboratory, Biochemistry Laboratory, Medical Biology Laboratory, Physiology Laboratory, Cadaver Laboratory, Multidisciplinary Laboratory, Pharmacology Laboratory, Histology Laboratory, Electromicroscopy Room, X-Ray Rooms, Animal Laboratories, Medical Biology Laboratory, Bikimer Laboratory, Biophysics Laboratory, 4 lecture rooms for 200 students each, lecture rooms for the students of the Department of Nursery and the rooms of the faculty members.

B) In the Faculty of Law;

Rooms of the faculty members, students canteen, rooms of the professors, places to be used by the deanery, 3 lecture rooms for 200 students each, divisions for graduate programs, Department of Law-Philosophy , Administrative Departments.

C) In the Faculty of Pharmaceutics ;

Laboratories of Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical technology, Herbarium, Pharmaceutical toxicology, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology.

D) In the Department of Cinematography-Television;

Black-white TV studios, colored TV studios (excluding the electronic parts), student classrooms, rooms of the faculty members.

E) In the whole building;

Repair works of the roof, VIP lounge at the main entrance, decoration and restoration of the R hall, grading of the front elevation of the building, arrangement of the fore-garden, repair and painting works of the garden wall and the bricks of the front elevation, interposition of new broilers in the boilers room, repair works of the bunker and LPG tube depots, construction of the transformer house, electricity central room and the telephone centrals.
