CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES
The Complex consists of sports, training hall, covered
olympic swimming pool, education accommodation facilities,
museum, laboratory, lecture halls and dwelling units.
The units whose contracts have been awarded separately
from 1975 onwards, have different characteristics from
the architectural and technical points of view.
Within the complex, education accommodation facilities
construction is established by 2 no. contracts and the
building for education accommodation with a total construction
area of 16.665 m2 is designed to meet all the needs
of 1.500 students. It consists of; dormitories with
rooms for 4 persons with bathing facilities, study-rooms,
library, mess-hall, kitchen and manager departments.
The laboratory and lecture hall building with 1.600
m2 construction area consist of 2 laboratories and lecture
halls where all kind of research and development concerning
aircraft engines and general aircraft technology can
be carried out.
