CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES
The Complex consists of sports, training hall, covered
olympic swimming pool, education accommodation facilities,
museum, laboratory, lecture halls and dwelling units.
The units whose contracts have been awarded separately
from 1975 onwards, have different characteristics from
the architectural and technical points of view.
Within the complex, the sports and training hall construction
is established by 3 no of contracts. 2.000 audience
capacity sports hall has been designed for all types
of indoor sports. A tartan light athletics tracks has
been planned to be constructed at the second floor gallery.
A multi-purpose electronic score-board and a closed-circuit
TV system is included in the building.
The training hall, built next to the sports hall, has
a construction area of 2.500 m2, consisting of, training
halls for wrestling, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics,
athletics and rowing.
The steel structure of sport hall roof has a span of
63 m. 2.500 m2 aluminum have been used for the construction.
The steel structure of the training hall roof has a
span of 25 m.
